Struggling in classes

A message from Tutoring & Academic Support Programs. You indicated that you were struggling in your classes right now, so here are some suggestions I have based on what your needs are:

  • Tutoring and Academic Success Programs (TASP) provides tutoring in a variety of subject areas. Please take a look at the schedule and drop in at your convenience when your subject area is listed. Some classes even offer Supplemental Instruction which provides a more in-depth look at your course specifically. Click here to see if your course is offered!
  • Your Professor's office hours are always a great place to start with questions you have about your course in particular. They are a wealth of knowledge and have carved out time specifically for you to come by. Check their syllabi for more info!
  • One of the key support efforts TASP provides is success coaching. They can help you walk through topics like time management, motivation, study strategies, and test-taking tips. Please feel free to email hurst@msutexas.edu if this is an appointment you're interested in making.
