Under general supervision, develops and implements marketing campaigns across various channels that promote student service resources for first- and second-year students and military-connected students.
- Examples
-
Under the supervision of the Director for Marketing & Public Information and in collaboration with the Student Success Center and Military Education Center: Develops, implements, and manages marketing initiatives including email, direct mail, social media, and paid advertising campaigns. Analyzes market data and competitor information to inform strategy and identify opportunities for increased student success outcomes. Tracks and reports performance of campaigns and key metrics using analytics tools. Uses data insights to optimize campaigns, improve user funnels, and suggest improvements to marketing strategies. Writes, edits, and publishes content for various platforms to engage target audiences. Attends training, seminars, and other meetings, as needed; performs other duties as assigned.

Experience of more than 2-3 years in a related field. Experience in prepress workflow and creating files for printing is required. Documented portfolio of design work produced.
- Knowledge

Knowledge of fundamental marketing techniques; Possesses excellent editing and proofreading skills; Ability to write professional and accurate copy for various purposes, such as internal and external communication, and marketing materials; Experience with marketing software, platforms, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics; Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; Ability to express ideas in a clear and structured manner; Ability to understand and meet assigned deadlines; Ability to utilize a personal computer and software including as Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Bachelor’s degree in commercial art, design, advertising, marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Should possess the sensitivity and skill to work with student and employee populations; the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment and personal maturity; and strong interpersonal skills. Understanding of how to work in a time-sensitive workspace and ability to handle multiple tasks in an extremely busy office. Must be able to solve complex problems and to work independently with little supervision.
