- Coordinator, First-Year Mustangs Adventure
- Description
Assists with the development and coordination of First-year Mustangs Adventure (FMA) Quality Enhancement Programs for undergraduate students, specifically with the scheduling of first-year seminars (FYS).
- Examples
Collects and synthesizes data pertaining to the FMA Quality Enhancement Program.(QEP) Works with the FMA Director and FMA Advisory Committee to make data-informed decisions regarding assessment and feedback. Collaborates with campus partners to coordinate, oversee, and host other First-year Experience events. Assists with budget and stipends, and oversees purchase of seminar supplies and resources. Maintains FMA website. Maintains thorough and specialized knowledge of Midwestern State University's policies and programs. Assists with the adaptation and implementation of technology. Acts as liaison with all colleges and with Information Systems and Webmaster staff. Reports to the Director of First-year Mustangs Adventure.

Prior experience in the area of student services, student affairs, and/or student activities is desirable.
- Knowledge
Must be proficient in the use of computers and commonly used office software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher and Outlook.
- Education
Bachelor's degree preferred. College coursework with equivalent work experience may be substituted.

Requires the ability to work well with diverse populations and maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community. Must be a positive representative of Midwestern State University and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and others. *Must observe strictest confidentiality and established security standards. *Regular reliable attendance is required. *This position is designated as security sensitive (Mod) and requires a criminal background check.
