- Description
Responsible for managing the operation of clinical teaching, including providing professional development, training, supervision, and support for teacher candidates, clinical teachers, faculty, cooperating teachers, and university field supervisors (UFS).
- Examples
Supports and serves as a liaison between school districts and cooperating teachers. Supervises clinical teachers and UFS. Oversees and maintains Texas Education Agency (TEA) clinical teaching and field experience requirements and documentation. Works with Educator Preparation and Assessment Manager to ensure TEA compliance, including securing and verifying clinical teaching placements, cooperating teacher/UFS credentials, and other clinical teaching TEA evidence documents.

- Experience
Experience integrating technology into PK-12 learning; current U.S. teaching credentials, and three years of U.S. public school experience.
- Knowledge
Knowledge of content and skills necessary to develop and provide professional development and support to prospective teachers. Knowledge of Texas Administrative Code (TAC) related to field experience and clinical teaching.
- Education
Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution. Google Educator Level 1 and 2 Certification.

Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
