The Clinical Mental Health Graduate Program in the West College of Education and Professional Studies at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month or 11-month tenure track Assistant Professor, to begin Fall 2026.
As a faculty member in the Clinical Mental Health Graduate Program in the West College of Education and Professional Studies, the candidate will be expected to teach graduate level courses in counselor education and contribute actively and effectively to student growth, service, and scholarship.

About the Department/School/Area:
The Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program at Midwestern State University is CACREPÂ accredited and delivered completely online. It prepares graduate students for professional counseling practice in clinical settings. The curriculum emphasizes ethical practice, evidence-based interventions, and supervised clinical experience to develop competent, licensed professional counselors serving individuals, families, and communities.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must have earned a doctorate in Counselor Education from a regionally accredited CACREP institution and hold LPC credentials. ABD candidates from a regionally accredited CACREP institution will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requires the ability to maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
