Faculty and staff working with minors for outreach, to include camps, on-campus events, and service projects, should work with the Summer Camps and Conferences office to plan and execute the event safely. All adult participants must complete Child Protection Training. This training is renewed every two years. A Background Check is also required for work with minors. Because of the timeframe required for the check, MSU recommends completing these at least two weeks prior to the event.
