Who is my Academic Advisor?
Academic Advising at MSU Texas is scheduled and coordinated through the Navigate Student app. You can download it for free in the App Store or Google Play. To log in, use the same username and password you use for your my.msutexas.edu account. Let Navigate keep you on track for success in class and on campus!
Can my Admissions Counselor advise me and assist me with registration?
Only an academic advisor is able to advise you and help you register for your courses.
Do I have to be advised in person?
For the most part, no! You are encouraged to reach out to your advisor prior to attending orientation to begin the process of building your schedule for the following semester and to register for your courses early!
How do I get registered for classes?

When is the last day I can register for classes?

When do classes start?
Your class start date is dependent on the semester you begin your academic career. Please see our Class Schedule webpage to find the semester-specific calendar for the semester you begin classes.
I can't seem to access my my.msutexas.edu account. What can I do about that?
Please contact our IT Help Desk by emailing your request(s) to helpdesk@msutexas.edu or call them by phone at 940-397-4278. You will want to provide them with your full name and Mustang ID number.
