The Department of Political Science at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time 9- month non-tenure-track Lecturer to begin Spring 2026. As a faculty member in the Department of Political Science you will be expected to:
- Teach 12 credit hours/4 courses of American national government and Texas government each semester.
- Communicate and meet with students.
- Assist with departmental needs.
- Maintain a regular presence on campus.

Required Qualifications Include:
1. MA in Political Science
2. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- PhD (ABD accepted) in Political Science. Commitment to undergraduate education.
- Experience teaching courses in American national government and/or Texas government.
- Experience teaching in-person courses.
- Experience teaching online courses.
