- Responsibilities

Responsible for the organization and administration functions of the Social Work department, teach courses, advise students, recruit students, and maintain accreditation through compliance with nationally recognized standards and practices (for both regional and CSWE accreditation). Oversee all operations within the department including scheduling, staffing, budgeting, curriculum, and assessment. In addition to supervision of the department’s personnel, the Chair will participate in university committee service, professional service, scholarly activity, and to perform any other duties as assigned.
- Requirements

MSW degree from a CSWE accredited social work program, two years of post-master’s social work degree practice experience, three years of teaching social work at a post-secondary institution, and willingness to pursue doctoral degree upon hire.
