The Department of Athletic Training & Exercise Physiology housed in the College of Health Sciences and Human Services at Midwestern State University is seeking to fill a 9 month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Exercise Physiology. The requirements of this position include teaching undergraduate nutrition and exercise physiology courses, as well as graduate level exercise physiology courses, research, and service to the university and surrounding community. This is a nine (9) month renewable contract position with the possibility of teaching in the summer. The teaching load will include 12 credit hours per semester.


Applicants are required to have a terminal degree (PhD, EdD) in Exercise Physiology or a related field. ABD candidates are welcome to apply but must have earned their degree by the end of their first year. Certifications in Nutrition/Dietetics, ACSM C-EP, ASEP CEP, NSCA CSCS are encouraged but not required.
