The successful candidate in this 9-month tenure track position will teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in early childhood education including: EC-3, EC-6, and Early Care; and contribute actively and effectively to student growth, service, and scholarship. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. This position will be a tenure track or instructor position depending on the credentials.


Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have an earned master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ABD will be considered) or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution, 18 hours of graduate coursework in early childhood (or willingness to acquire), administration experience in a U.S. private or non-profit childcare or preschool setting, at least 3 years of experience working in U.S. childcare or preschool setting, and knowledge and skills that include: thorough understanding of child care center operations; strong organizational, communication, public relations, computer, and interpersonal skills; familiar with the rules and regulations that govern childcare facilities; familiar with developmentally appropriate practices for childcare and preschool programs.
