Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate/graduate counseling courses.

 

Candidates must have an earned doctorate (or ABD) in Counseling or a closely related field frim a regionally accredited CACREP institution; US teaching and LPC/LPCS credentials, school counseling licensure/experience.  Preferred: an established counselor identity/research agenda, experience in teaching graduate level courses and with distance education.

 
Qualifications
Must have a proven record of effective teaching; be able to relate to students; establish strong working relationships with colleagues; and be able to be a positive representative of the University both on and off campus. Other requirements may vary according the needs of the individual college or academic program. Serves as Campus Security Authority as outlined by the Clery Act. *Designated as a Responsible Employee as outlined by Title IX. *This position is designated as security sensitive (Mod) and requires a criminal background check.
