Responsibilities
Percussion specialist, full-time, nine-month term, non-tenure track faculty position as Visiting Instructor of Music or Visiting Assistant Professor of Music. Responsibilities include to teach a twelve-hour load equivalency each semester, to include a combination of percussion and music courses, ensembles, direct university pep band, assist the director of bands, or other courses commensurate with experience and/or department needs. In addition, assess students, hold office hours, and engage in department, college, and university service. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, establishing strong working relationships with colleagues, and representing the music department on and off campus.
Qualifications
A master's degree in music performance with a specialization in percussion is required for Visiting Instructor appointment. A Doctorate of Music is required for Visiting Assistant Professor appointment.
