Responsibilities
Curriculum development and evaluation, coordinate the transition of the Athletic Training program to a Master degree, maintain Athletic Training and Exercise Physiology accreditations, personnel and budget management, teach nine (9) semester credit hours a semester in either athletic training or exercise physiology majors, participate in scholarly activities aligned with duties, and be involved in service to the university, community, and the profession.
Qualifications
Doctorate in athletic training, Exercise Physiology, or related field (if athletic training BOC certification and license of eligibility for licensure in Texas). Teaching, thesis supervision, curriculum development, administration, and accreditation experience at the college level. The Athletic Training and Exercise Physiology department offer the athletic training major (accredited by the CAATE), and the Exercise Physiology undergraduate and graduate majors (accredited by ASEP).
