- Responsibilities
- The Department of Mathematics at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full time Lecturer position to begin Fall 2025. The successful candidate will teach 12 credit hours (generally four courses) per semester (fall and spring) of developmental or introductory mathematics, primarily face-to-face at MSU's campus in Wichita Falls, TX. They will also participate in departmental service primarily focused on promoting student success in developmental and introductory mathematics.
- Requirements
- The required education for the position 18 hours of graduate coursework in mathematics. Other required qualifications are demonstrated excellence in teaching mathematics courses, strong communication skills, and ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in mathematics, math education, or a closely related field; successful student mentoring or community engagement; and experience teaching postsecondary developmental mathematics courses

Requires the ability to maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
