- Responsibilities
- The Dillard College of Business Administration (AACSB accredited) at Midwestern State University (MSU Texas) invites applications for a one-year Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor of Accounting beginning Fall 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to teach four undergraduate or graduate courses per semester. Face-to-face teaching is expected; the ability to conduct online teaching is an asset. We seek candidates who display a strong commitment to teaching excellence, including an appreciation of or engagement in high-impact practices in accounting. The preferred teaching is in the general areas of Auditing, Managerial, Financial, and Cost Accounting. Salary is competitive and is based on rank and qualifications.
- Requirements
- A terminal degree in Accounting or related discipline (as augmented through research or professional engagement), preferably from an AACSB-accredited university. ABD is also acceptable. Industry professionals with 18 hours of graduate coursework in accounting or a related field with five years or more of professional experience are also strongly encouraged to apply. Track record of excellence in teaching a broad array of basic and advanced accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
