Work includes transporting passengers while driving diesel powered 51 passenger Motor Coach (or equivalent) or 22 passenger mini-bus, often requiring out of town, overnight and weekend travel.

Drives trips as scheduled by Midwestern State University. Monitors and inspects equipment. Performs necessary cleaning, and driver level maintenance. Maintains pre-trip inspection and service records for the buses. Reports to the Auto Mechanic Superintendent. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requires a current Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement.

Requires the ability to maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community. Personal cell phone usage may be required to complete position duties, including multi-function authentication requirements. Regular reliable attendance is required.

This position is designated as security sensitive (Mod) and requires a criminal background check. Position is designated as a Responsible Employee as outlined by Title IX. May serve as Campus Security Authority as outlined by the Clery Act.
