Senior Associate Director of Flower Mound - Corporate Solutions and BAAS

Supports the mission of Midwestern State University and the Flower Mound Student Learning Center by promoting enrollment growth through corporate partnerships. Specifically, the Senior Associate Director develops and grows strategic partnerships with area businesses, healthcare organizations, municipalities, and school districts. In addition to strategic partnerships, the Senior Associate Director will serve as program coordinator for the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) at MSU - Flower Mound. Reports to the Director of Flower Mound Student Learning Center


Identify, cultivate, and service DFW industry partners and municipalities to offer or create partnerships that fulfill current workforce needs; continually identify emerging needs of the DFW workforce; identify and approach new businesses, corporations, or industry in the DFW market; work with academic and enrollment partners to create new areas of focus and requisite processes; alongside the director, will represent MSU Flower Mound at collaborative or strategic alliance opportunities; present materials and data where appropriate; oversee commitments made on behalf of MSU Flower Mound. Manages the BAAS program budget; directs recruiting efforts; advises potential and continuing students; evaluates non-traditional experiences for academic credit; creates and chairs a DFW-based BAAS Advisory Committee; and supervises students participating in BAAS Internship program.Other duties as assigned by Director.

Physical Condition

Must be willing and able to travel throughout DFW.


Three or more years' experience in community development, strategic partnerships, sales, or recruitment. Previous community college or university work experience preferred.


Must possess thorough knowledge, skills, and abilities in corporate partnership development, public relations, sales, public speaking, and problem solving. Also, knowledge of or ability quickly to learn the curriculum of the BAAS program; work-related experience in evaluation practices and procedures; proficiency in the use of relevant computer programs.


Bachelor's required; master's preferred.
