First Generation Network

American campuses welcome first generation students, one-third of all students in college, to campus each year. First2Go Network is a support group for first generation students at Midwestern State University. If neither of your parents (or guardians) graduated with a four-year college degree, this is a group for you. You'll receive news and updates on opportunities on campus and in the community, get reminders about important deadlines and resources and connect with other students -- and faculty/staff -- who relate to your experience as a #msufirst2go student.

To join #msufirst2go, login to MustangsLink and search for First Generation Network, then, click Join.

One of the best programs we offer for first generation students at MSU is The Priddy Foundation Scholars Program. Each year, The Priddy Foundation Scholars Program provides scholarships for 10 new first year, first generation students -- in addition to a supporting students throughout their four years of education at Midwestern State University. Opportunities for "Priddy Scholars" include student success workshops, career planning assistance and study abroad.
