Title
Coordinator, Annual Giving
Description

Provides leadership, direction, and strategy for the multi-channel annual fund program. Responsible for expanding fundraising efforts by implementing direct marketing strategies including the student solicitation program, direct mail, email, and texting programs.

Examples

Recruits, hires, trains, motivate, and monitors the progress of student engagement ambassadors. Analyzes ROI on mailings and provide strategy on increasing efficiency. Serves as primary contact with third-party vendors that may assist mailing, text, and email. Develops e-solicitations for mass and segmented audiences including alumni and friends.

Analyzes campaign performance and complies results. Manages the Annual Giving online presence including website and online giving platform. Develops and maintains a calendar of outreach planned for these channels, content generation, and timely follow-up. Works with Director of Annual and Leadership Giving to develop, manage, and implement strategies for the direct mail program, including mass solicitation and targeted campaigns. Collaborates with the Marketing Department to meet projects timelines and specifications. Works with the Director of Annual and Leadership Giving, Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship, and staff to develop, expand, and refine all facets of the Annual Giving and Stewardship initiatives. Coordinates with the University leadership to support overall philanthropic goals and priorities and supports student philanthropy efforts as needed. Works with the Annual Giving team to coordinate the annual faculty/ staff campaign and supports the fundraising efforts for Midwestern State University.

Utilizes a fundraising application process to identify crowdfunding opportunities and subsequently create the crowdfunding pages needed to market these initiatives through our current crowdfunding platform. Reports to the Director of Annual and Leadership Giving. Perform other duties as assigned

Experience

At least one year of development work experience in fundraising or equivalent. Strategic thinker coupled with a solid understanding of what constitutes well-written development documents essential.

Knowledge

Possess strong leadership skills, work ethic, and time management. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with high levels of concentration and accuracy as well as meticulous attention to detail. Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree.
