Title
Coordinator, Lifelong Learning 3/4 Time
Description

The Coordinator of Lifelong Learning will coordinates and monitors the daily operations and flow of all lifelong learning programs, including events planning, at the Lifelong Learning Center (LLC).

Examples

Develops and implements policies and procedures; manages the program budget allocation, as well as contract and grant funded training initiatives. Develops and coordinates new courses & programs for the lifelong learning programs. Develops intra-departmental partnerships within continuing education to create additional training opportunities throughout the College service area. Supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates the performance of designated lifelong learning programs staff, instructors, and hourly personnel. Coordinates the development of lifelong learning programs training curricula for open enrollment courses, as well as customized training initiatives. Coordinates both internal and external marketing and communications activities in support of Lifelong Learning programs and initiatives. Coordinates collaboration across both internal and external partners in support of Lifelong Learning programs and initiatives.

Requires experience with program fund management and allocation.


Knowledge

Must have knowledge of community programs development, implementation and delivery processes for programs, and data documentation, manipulation, and reporting processes for programs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required.

Must able to successfully manage relationships with campus community and alumni, donors and friends of the university. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be detail oriented.
