Title
Facility Coordinator, Flower Mound
Description

Oversees the Midwestern State University (MSU) building in Flower Mound. Coordinates activities within the facility. Point of contact for North Central Texas College (NCTC), who subleases space in the building. Reports to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. 

Examples

Monitors operations and vendors that provide services within the MSU Texas-Flower Mound building. Submit and manage work worders for all repairs and items that need attention within the building. Communicate with NCTC staff and security officers as it relates to the building schedule and the opening and closing of automatic doors. Serve as main point of contact for all repairs and services relating to operations within the MSU-Flower Mound building. Serve as main liaison with MSU IT department regarding IT related projects and installations. Manage MSU-Flower Mound departmental budget. Receive visitors and walk-ins in a friendly manner. Answer phone calls and respond to customers in a polite way and with a positive attitude. Assist customers with questions and direct to appropriate staff as needed. Help students and faculty with various needs and requests as it relates to operations within the building. Perform various office duties such as filing, alphabetizing, photocopying, typing of documents, taking inventory of office supplies, organizing the storage closet, and the like. Plan and coordinate events that occur in the building. Keep a daily record of visitors, vendor services, and guests who stop by the office.

Must have excellent oral communication skills and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. 

Education

Bachelor's degree required.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, other employees, faculty, students, and the public.
