May assist in the development of automated systems. May verify program logic by preparing and using test data. Trains for increasingly difficult assignments. Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Physical Condition
Ability to lift 25 lbs. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Experience
One or more years of experience in analysis of automatic data processing problems and in computer programming. Experience with Ellucian's Banner products or another ERP system is highly desirable.
- Knowledge
Knowledge of one or more of the following: Oracle Databases, SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Stored Procedures, Object oriented programming such as Java, Groovy, Python, and/or JSON experience in database tools such as Toad or SQL Developer. Experience with reporting tools such as Argos or Other report writing software is desirable. Must have knowledge of Microsoft office products.
- Education
College course work in Programming as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
60 Semester hours or Associate’s Degree equals one year
90-120 Semester Hours or Bachelor’s Degree equals 2 years.
MA/MS would equal 4 years

Requires good interpersonal skills. Must be able to perform detailed work accurately and to work effectively with others. Must be dependable and have a positive attitude towards the work environment. Requires good verbal and written communication skills as well as keyboarding skills.
