Admission Requirements­

  • Minimum of 18 transferable college-level credit hours
  • Cumulative 2.0 GPA on all transfer work
  • Specific academic programs may have additional requirements that must be met prior to enrolling in the program.
  • Once admitted and enrolled at MSU Texas, talk to your advisor about the Writing Proficiency Requirement. All students seeking a bachelor’s degree through MSU Texas are required to take the Writing Proficiency Exam.

How to Apply

  • Submit official transcripts from previous colleges to Midwestern State University and meet with a program advisor.
  • Complete the online Apply Texas Application and pay the $40 application fee.
