Special Education, M.Ed. with Diagnostician Certification
Prepare to lead your schools and communities in providing services to students with disabilities with the knowledge and skills provided by our Master of Education program. Upon completion of our program, you will be eligible to apply for Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification upon satisfactory completion of the TExES examination and three years of teaching experience. Admission to the program requires an undergraduate degree in special education*.
Requirements for Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification
Completion of an approved master’s degree
Three years of teaching experience
Passing score on the state mandated examination (TExES)
