The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences (BSRS) program is an online degree program for technologists who wish to advance their education. All radiology professional courses are online and must be taken from MSU Texas. Students will take seven core professional courses and select four additional professional electives. While the BSRS Program is not designed as a complete advanced modality program, specific professional elective course options are designed to help prepare technologists for advanced-level examinations such as computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and mammography.
The modality elective courses are designed to help prepare students for registry exams. The general education (non-professional) courses may be taken from MSU Texas or other accredited institutions and transferred to MSU Texas. Students should work with their academic advisor to be sure that courses will transfer to their degree plan.
This program is NOT for entry-level students. Students wishing to become radiographers need to pursue the BSRT program.
Years average until degree completion
Modality concentrations: CT, Mammography, and MRI
Credits awarded to students with ARRT license
MSU faculty will provide you with exceptional preparation for a career as a radiographer.
