  • Interact with high achieving students who want the most out of their collegiate experience
  • Housing on the Honors Living Learning Program in Legacy residence hall limited to Redwine Honors students (subject to availability)
  • Honors classes limited in size and to Redwine Honors Program students
  • Influence changes to the Redwine Honors Program through participation in the Honors Student Committee
  • Field trips and Honors conferences at the local, regional, and national levels

 

Scholarships

  • The program offers three levels of Academic Scholarships
    • Redwine Honors Scholars Scholarship: awarded up to $1,000 per semester for up to six semesters
    • Redwine Honors Scholarship: awarded up to $2,000 per semester for up to eight semesters
    • Redwine Honors Presidential Scholarship: awarded to incoming freshman in the amount of  $5,000 per semester for up to eight semesters
  • Scholarship support for MSU study abroad programs and undergraduate research
  • Scholarships for Honors students who live in Honors Housing

***PLEASE NOTE:  Recipients of the Redwine Honors Scholarship and the Redwine Honors Presidential Scholarship must be enrolled in a minimum of fifteen (15) semester hours per long term, passing a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours prior to the beginning of the next academic year. Additionally, applicants who have been awarded the Priddy Scholarship are not eligible to receive Redwine Honors or Redwine Honors Presidential Scholarships but may participate in the Redwine Honors Program and receive the benefits of all of its associated non-scholarship privileges and perks.

 

Recognition

  • Graduates who successfully complete the Redwine Honors Program are recognized on official transcripts, diplomas, and at commencement ceremonies.
