Responsibilities
Midwestern State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership. The successful candidate in this 9-month tenure track position will teach graduate and undergraduate level courses in educational leadership and contribute actively and effectively to student growth, service, and scholarship. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. The successful candidate will begin Fall 2023. 
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership from a regionally accredited institution, knowledge of content and skills necessary to teach courses in teacher, principal, and superintendent preparation, U.S. teaching and principal credentials, three years of U.S. public school teaching experience, three years of P-12 principal experience, and an established research agenda. Preferred qualifications: The preferred candidate will have experience as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, or district level leader; university teaching experience; and distance education. These qualifications are desired but not required.  
Standard Requirements

Requires the ability to work well with diverse populations and maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community. Personal cell phone usage may be required to complete position duties, including multi-function authentication requirements. Regular reliable attendance is required.

This position is designated as security sensitive (Mod) and requires a criminal background check. Position is designated as a Responsible Employee as outlined by Title IX. May serve as Campus Security Authority as outlined by the Clery Act.
