Mamie Raborn Center for Economic Education:

The Center was originally established in 1982 to increase the economic understanding of the university community and the citizens of the North Texas area. It provided economic education materials, dispersed information concerning economic issues, and served as a point of contact for members of the media and community having questions about economic issues.

After a brief hiatus in its functionality from the fall of 2020 to the summer of 2023, the Center was redesigned in the Fall of 2023 to serve as the main body of the Dillard College of Business Administration to promote education and discussions on business subjects within the community at large. To that end, the Center is currently responsible for arranging faculty speeches on various socio-economic and business issues at varied events held on and off the university campus throughout an academic year. This includes but is not limited to visits to high school campuses, media interviews by local journalists, and events designed for adults aged 50 years or older by the MSU TX Lifelong Learning Center.

Below, each link provides the list of activities of the Center for the corresponding academic year.
