MSU Texas has identified marketable skills for all of its degree programs. These skills include interpersonal, cognitive, and applied expertise areas which are valued by employers, and are primary or complementary to a major. The marketable skills goal was designed to help students articulate their skills to employers.
BS Dental Hygiene
- Medical History Collection: Obtain comprehensive medical/dental histories from patients
- Treatment Plan Development: Collect, analyze and interpret information for individualized dental hygiene treatment plans
- Therapeutic Treatment: Perform therapeutic procedures/modalities for safe and effective patient treatment
