English Degree Skills
MSU Texas has identified marketable skills for all of its degree programs. These skills include interpersonal, cognitive, and applied expertise areas which are valued by employers, and are primary or complementary to a major. The marketable skills goal was designed to help students articulate their skills to employers.
BS Criminal Justice
- Relationship Building: Establish rapport with practitioners, victims, criminal convicts, suspects and families
- Information Management: Gather and organize timely information and extrapolate for collaboration
- Criminological Theory Application: Apply fundamentals of the criminal justice system and criminological theory
MS Criminal Justice
- Criminological Process Analysis: Expand knowledge of criminological theory, crime control, and correctional and police administration
- Criminological Theory Application: Apply fundamentals of the criminal justice system and criminological theory
