A National Search for the 13th MSU Texas President

The Hardin Administration Building features a distinctive bell tower. Hardin lawn features a replica of the Liberty Bell flanked by the U.S. and Texas flags.

Midwestern State University (MSU Texas), the newest member of the Texas Tech University System (TTU System), is searching for a dynamic, effective, and forward-thinking leader to serve as its 13th president. The next President will join the institution at a pivotal time as MSU Texas has emerged as a leading public liberal arts university in the state of Texas—and beyond—and is primed for continued growth and development as it enters its second century.

The Board of Regents and Chancellor of the TTU System invite nominations, inquiries, and applications in its national search for the position of President at MSU Texas.

The President serves as the chief executive officer of MSU Texas and is responsible for the executive management of its operations. The President provides overall leadership in the planning and management of the academic, research, service, fiscal, administrative, and operational missions of MSU Texas.

"As we continue to celebrate the historic significance of the centennial of Midwestern State University, there is much to look forward to in the next 100 years. I am grateful for your support and commitment to this great university." - Ginger Kerrick Davis, Chairwoman, MSU Texas Presidential Search; Vice Chairwoman, Texas Tech University System Board of Regents
