Getting to know your Admissions Counselor

Q: What is your favorite thing(s) about MSU?

A: My favorite thing about MSU is how diverse of a campus we have. Many organizations foster involvement for all individuals from different backgrounds at MSU, ensuring that everyone feels they have a community on campus.

Q: Favorite place to hang out in Wichita Falls?

A: My favorite place to hang out in Wichita Falls is Village Bowl. Bowling is always fun and Village Bowl offers student discounts which made it even better for me when I was a student!

Q: What was the greatest lesson that you learned in college?

A: The greatest lesson that I learned in college was getting out of my comfort zone. This allowed me to make lifelong friends and grow connections. Additionally, college is what you make of it, and getting involved is important! Joining organizations made the biggest difference in ensuring I had a great experience on campus.

Q: What was your favorite class in college? Why?

A: My favorite class in college was theatre appreciation because, for our final project, we got to make a production of a play. Designing a set, writing, finding costumes, and acting were interesting. It was only performed in front of our teacher but it was interesting to see it all come together!

Q: What are you passionate about?

A: I am passionate about helping my community in any way I can.

Q: Who has had the greatest influence on your life?

A: My parents are the foundation of who I am today. They are my greatest influence in life.
