The French club is an integral part of the French program at Midwestern. Membership is open to anyone at the college or in the community with an interest in French language and francophone culture. It has four officers elected from its membership and a faculty advisor, Dr. Stuart McClintock.

The general purpose of the club is to expose its members to as many facets of francophone culture as possible. We have film screenings; trips to museums, films, and restaurants in the Dallas area; on campus lectures on subjects of interest; and more informal gatherings. A second purpose of the club is to organize efforts to benefit the community such as giving to the needy or responding to those in an emergency situation.
