The Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) Prelicensure program is designed for students who want to enter the profession of nursing and who do not hold an RN license. We admit highly-qualified students in the spring and fall semesters through a competitive selection process. Graduates of this program are prepared to take the licensure examination (NCLEX) to become a registered nurse.
The undergraduate curriculum includes general education courses which provide a foundation for understanding physiological, psychosocial, political and economic factors that may affect a person’s health status. Nursing courses prepare the BSN graduate to provide holistic nursing care in a variety of complex environments in order to enhance the optimal health of individuals, families, groups, and communities.
