The Midwestern Singers is the premier touring choir at Midwestern State University. This auditioned choir consists of students who are majoring in music and other degree programs.
Auditions for choir are held during the first week of the fall and spring semesters of each academic year.
Dr. Thomas Wininger conducts the Midwestern Singers.

This ensemble is a large mixed ensemble that specializes in major works for chorus. This choir is open to all members of the community and all university students, regardless of major. This chorus has performed with the Communiversity Ensemble, the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestras, and various other Orchestras and Ensembles depending on the repertoire.
This course is open to all students and the general public.
Oratorio Chorus meets on Monday nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, usually starting on
the second Monday of classes of each semester.
The Vocal Area offers Opera Workshop and joint Music Theatre productions with the Theatre Department on alternate years.
Auditions are open to any Midwestern State University student.
