Dr. Thomas Wininger conducts the University Choir. The University Choir represents the entire student body at Midwestern State University, and is open to any student enrolled in the University, who enjoys singing.
The University Choir performs accompanied and a cappella repertoire throughout the year.

The Midwestern Singers is the premier touring choir at Midwestern State University. This auditioned choir consists of students who are majoring in music and other degree programs.
Auditions for choir are held during the first week of the fall an spring semesters of each academic year.

This ensemble, conducted by Dr. Thomas Wininger, is a large mixed ensemble that specializes in the music written for a large chorus and orchestra.
This course is open to all students and the general public.
The Vocal Area offers Opera Workshop and joint Music Theatre productions with the Theatre Department on alternate years.
Auditions are open to any Midwestern State University student.
