For FINANCIAL AID PURPOSES, a student’s enrollment status is defined below; please note that this financial aid enrollment status may differ from the academic enrollment status.
NOTE: You must be enrolled at least half-time to receive a student loan.
Undergraduate, 2nd Baccalaureate or Teacher Certification:
for Fall semester OR Spring semester
OR Summer terms (one or both summer terms combined)
- Full-time = 12 hours or more
- Three-quarter-time = 9-11 hours
- Half-time = 6-8 hours
- Less-than-half-time = 1-5 hours
Graduate or Doctoral:
for Fall semester OR Spring semester
OR Summer (one or both summer terms combined)
- Full-time = 6 hours or more
- Three-quarter-time = 4-5 hours
- Half-time = 3 hours
- Less-than-half-time = N/A; not eligible for aid
