Our graduate students have access to funding for research and conference presentations.
Graduate Student Research Grants: This program provides support for graduate student research and creative activity, including theses, field studies, and scholarly studies. Awards are selected competitively and can reach a sum of $750 to be used for operating expenses and supplies. Students supported by this program are expected to participate in the MSU Texas Celebration of Scholarship held during the spring. This award is administered through the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research.
Graduate Student Travel Scholarship: This scholarship helps graduate students to cover the costs of travel expenses associated with presenting research. Funding can reach a sum of $1,000. The application, budget justification, and authorized absence forms can be found in the Graduate Student Resources Community in the MSU Texas Portal.
Graduate students can also apply for Graduate Assistantships and other scholarship opportunities.
