MSU's master's program for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides students with opportunities to practice as a PMHNP, meeting the requirements for advanced practice established by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Upon completion of the program, students are prepared for nursing practice in a variety of settings and are eligible for national certification examinations.
