The Family Nurse Practitioner and the Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner programs provide students opportunities to practice as an FNP or PMHNP, meeting the requirements for advanced practice established by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Graduates are eligible for National Certification Examinations.

The FNP program has had a 100% pass rate for National Certification Examinations for the last five years. Often, our FNP and PMHNP students are employed before their graduation date.
