
The Juanita and Ralph Harvey School of Visual Arts at MSU Texas offers a variety of studio programs in well-equipped facilities. Each discipline involves in-depth teaching of the practical skills, studio techniques, and visual concepts necessary for the creation of fine art.
The gallery features group and solo exhibitions by regionally and nationally known artists as well as the Annual Student Exhibition in the spring and summer. During the fall and spring semesters, the Harvey School of Visual Arts hosts a number of workshops and lectures through the Visiting Artist Program. Field trips to Dallas and Fort Worth museums, galleries, and private artist studios complete a well-rounded educational experience.

DEGREE OFFERINGS
The Juanita and Ralph Harvey School of Visual Arts offers three degree options: The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree is for the student who wants to major in art and minor in another field. The Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree is a more in-depth plan for those focused on graduate study and continuing career development as a professional. Teacher certification for grades K-12 can also be added to the B.F.A. degree.
