Student Success Council
Purpose
To implement and review student success programs and practices through the University's participation in the Transforming the Postsecondary Experience engagement process guided by the Gardner Institute (2025-2030) and advise administration and the Gardner Steering Committee on actionable steps to improve student persistence and success. Meets at least once a semester.Personnel
The AVP for Academic Affairs Academic Innovation and Success (co-Chair); the AVP for Student Affairs and Dean of Students (co-Chair), AVP for Academic Affairs, Accreditation and Planning; Director of Financial Aid, Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Director of QEP First-Year Mustangs Adventure, Director of Residence Life and Housing, Director of Student Leadership and Involvement, Director of the Student Success Center, Director of the Tutoring and Academic Support Programs, the Registrar, University Librarian, Executive Director of Student Wellness, the Chair of Teaching and Learning Resource Collaborative, representative from Signature Experiences, Chair of the Academic Advising Committee, one faculty representative from each of the six colleges appointed by the colleges, and two student representatives.
Meets at least once per semester.
