University Data Standards and Security Committee
Purpose
To establish standards to protect the integrity, security, access, and maintenance of MSU Texas data. Responsibility includes implementing external survey governance processes to guide IPEDS< CDS and census date data processing and verification.
Meets at least once annually.
Personnel
Representative of Institutional Effectiveness (Chair), one representative from each of the following areas: Registrar, Admissions, Business Office, Financial Aid, Human Resources, Payroll, Institutional Effectiveness, Global Education, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs; a faculty representative, two representatives from Information Systems representing technical and security issues, and a representative from the McAda Graduate School.
