Academic Appeals Committee
Purpose
To hear student appeals related to course grades and/or suspension from Departments internal to the University and to make written recommendations to the parties involved and to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Personnel
Four full-time faculty members and two faculty alternates appointed by Faculty Senate, one staff member appointed by Staff Senate, and one student and student alternates appointed by SGA. Alternates will be expected to serve if regular members cannot be present. Alternate members, when serving in the regular member’s place, have the same rights and privileges as the regular member.
