Start Where You Are

Every student's path looks different. Whether you are beginning your college journey, transferring credits, returning after time away, or building on military training, the Military Education Center works with you one-on-one to determine the best path forward.

How We Support You

Support looks different for every student. The Military Education Center provides guidance in areas such as:

  • Admissions guidance and enrollment support
  • Military education benefits (VA, Tuition Assistance)
  • Academic planning and course navigation
  • Assistance with transferring credits and military training
  • Ongoing support throughout your academic journey.

The strengthened partnership between MSU Texas and Sheppard Air Force Base has absolutely helped me personally. I see this collaboration as invaluable for both the university and the base, especially with the recent opening of the Military Education Center (MEC), which focuses on supporting students, with dedicated expertise in military and military-affiliated learners. This center has the potential to connect military families and the university in a much more intentional way.
