Living on-campus is a transformative part of the Mustang experience, and we are excited to welcome you to your new home at Midwestern State University. Make the most of your first few weeks on campus by getting out and meeting your Mustangs community.
Fall 2024 Move-In Day
Move-In Day is Tuesday, August 20. Move-In Day is designed to get you check-in and moved in quickly and efficiently so that you can start enjoying your new life at MSU Texas. We have amazing volunteers from various student organizations and athletic teams who come out to not only welcome you to campus but to help you move into your new room. Evening activities and a wide variety of social opportunities allow you to get out of your room and meet your hallmates, Program Assistants (PAs), Resident Assistants (RAs), and the community at the heart of Midwestern State University.
Why not move in one day early and be a part of our Mustangs Move-In Volunteer Team! Volunteers are a crucial part of the Move-In Day process. Some of the advantages of signing up to be a move-in volunteer are:
- Move-In one day early on Monday, August 19, at no cost
- Free Move-In Day t-shirt
- Optional: volunteer dinner on Monday night
- Earn volunteer hours for your organization
- Make new friends and connections
Welcome Home Mustangs Events
You are now a part of the Mustangs family! While Mustangs Roundup will teach you what it means to be a Mustang, Welcome Home events are a time to make your Residence Hall feel like more than just a room. Setting up your room will make the space feel like a home, but meeting your fellow Mustangs will make MSU Texas feel like family!
The fun begins on Tuesday Night. All students are invited to the annual Welcome Home Ice Cream Social in the Legacy Courtyard. This is a great opportunity to connect with old friends and for new students to begin meeting their hallmates and classmates.
More information about the Ice Cream Social and other welcome home events coming soon!
