Withdrawal & Dropped Course Refund
- Dropped Course Refunds – If you are dropping a course within the first four class days of a summer term or the first twelve class days of a Fall or Spring term, you are eligible for a refund of applicable tuition and fees for the course dropped.
- Withdrawal Procedures - Withdrawing from the university constitutes canceling all classes for a semester. If you wish to cancel your registration or withdraw from the university, you will need to notify the Office of Student Affairs, room 108, Clark Student Center or call (940) 397-7500.
Withdrawal Refund Schedules
Spring 2025
| Prior to the first class day | 100% before January 20, 2025 |
| During the first 5 class days | 80% thru January 25, 2025 |
| During the second 5 class days | 70% thru January 31, 2025 |
| During the third 5 class days | 50% thru February 6, 2025 |
| During the fourth 5 class days | 25% thru February 12, 2025 |
| After the fourth 5 class days | 0% Starting February 13, 2025 |
Summer I 2025
| Prior to the first class day | 100% before June 2, 2025 |
| During the first 3 class days | 80% thru June 4, 2025 |
| During the second 3 class days | 50% thru June 10, 2025 |
| After the second 3 class days | 0% Starting June 11, 2025 |
Summer II 2025
| Prior to the first class day | 100% before July 7, 2025 |
| During the first 3 class days | 80% thru July 9, 2025 |
| During the second 3 class days | 50% thru July 15, 2025 |
| After the second 3 class days | 0% Starting July 16, 2025 |
Fall 2025
| Prior to the first class day | 100% before August 25, 2025 |
| During the first 5 class days | 80% thru August 29, 2025 |
| During the second 5 class days | 70% thru September 5, 2025 |
| During the third 5 class days | 50% thru September 11, 2025 |
| During the fourth 5 class days | 25% thru September 17, 2025 |

Dropped Course Refund Schedules
Dropping a course(s), but remaining enrolled in another course(s) for the same semester
If you are dropping a course within the first four class days of a summer or Part A or Part B term or the first twelve class days of a fall or spring term, you are eligible for a refund of applicable tuition and fees for the course dropped. Dropped courses are not the same as a withdrawal. Dropped course refund percentages apply if you are dropping a course(s) but remaining enrolled in other course(s) during the semester.
