Secure and Simple Online Payment Setup

Manage the financial side of your life as college students with myMSUTexas – the MSU Texas student portal. It is easy to set up, it keeps your information secure, and it is an efficient way to stay on top of your account activity so you do not miss payments.

Getting Started

To set up your online payment information, simply log in to myMSUTexas - your online student portal, select the Touchnet link, and follow the prompts to finish setting up your account. You will then be able to easily enroll in payment plans, view your bill, monitor payment history, and set up direct deposit - all in one place.

Viewing Charges by Term

To view your account charges for each semester, log in to your student portal, navigate to the Account Activity tab, select Current Activity from the drop-down menu, choose the semester you wish to view, and click Select. This will allow you to see the breakdown of charges to your account, including tuition, fees, and additional expenses.

Set Up Your Payment Plan

Installment plans make paying for college more manageable by breaking your tuition payments into segments —  three in the Fall or Spring and one in the Summer.

Set Up Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is the fastest way to get your refunds to other payments from MSU Texas. To set up direct deposit, log in to myMSUTexas student portal, navigate the Touchnet link, select the eRefunds tab, and follow the prompts to connect your profile to your checking or savings account.

Set Up Authorized Users

If you plan to have someone other than yourself make tuition payments on your behalf (such as a parent, guardian, or sponsor) they must be authorized to do so. To designate an authorized user within your student account, log in in to the myMSUTexas portal, select the Touchnet link, and select the Authorized User tab.

Why should I set up online payments?

Setting up your student portal to process online payments is quick, easy, and secure. It will allow you to sign up for a payment plan, view your bill, monitor your payment history, and set up direct deposits.

How do I set up online payments?

To set up online payments, simply log in to your myMSUTexas student portal, select the Touchnet link, and follow the prompts to finish setting up your account.

Can my parent or guardian make a tuition payment for me online?

To allow a parent, guardian, or third-party agency to make online payments on your behalf, you will need to designate them as an authorized user in your student account. To do so, log in to your myMSUTexas student portal, select the Touchnet link, and select the Authorized User tab.

How often should I log in to my student account?

You will need to log in to your myMSUTexas student portal at least once per semester to keep your account activated, but we encourage you to log in more frequently! Viewing your student account regularly will help you to stay informed about your account activity and be proactive about any account changes as needed.
