What is Maroon and Gold Connection?

Maroon and Gold Connection is a unique off-campus admitted student experience for incoming Mustangs from the DFW area! This is a regional event where you can connect with MSU Texas at a location closer to you.

Who?
  • Any admitted student in or near the DFW area, or willing to travel to the DFW area.
  • Families are welcome!
What to Expect
  • Connect with other new students and get ready to take your next steps with MSU Texas.
  • MSU Texas staff will be present to get to know you and available to help answer questions you may have about becoming a Mustang!
  • Space is limited!
  • RSVP required. 
Prizes
  • We are raffling off a $500 one-time scholarship* at each event.
    • *Terms and conditions: Winner must be an admitted student and enroll for the Fall 2026 semester at MSU Texas.
