What do Electrical Engineers do?

Electrical engineers design, develop, test, and manage the manufacturing of electrical equipment and systems impacting every industry including aerospace, telecommunications, artificial intelligence (AI), and robotics.

What does the Electrical Engineering program at MSU offer?

In the Electrical Engineering program, students learn how to become problem solvers, how to work in a team, and most of all, how to become self-learners. Students will develop the ability to analyze, synthesize, and design electrical engineering systems and engage in research methods in industry and design. They will be able to apply content knowledge toward electrical engineering, including integrated circuit design, digital signal processing, robotics, electrical power design, and controls

The program includes a two-semester senior design experience that is the culmination of the program. This is where teams undertake a real-world application of their engineering knowledge.
