Description

MSU's doctorate program in Educational Leadership reflects National Educational Leadership Preparation standards. Students of the program work in informal cohorts to apply educational leadership knowledge and skills to current school issues, often in actual school settings. Unlike a Ph.D. that prepares graduates for research and a teaching role, the Ed.D. is a practitioner's degree that prepares educators for the application of appropriate and specific practices, the generation of new knowledge related to current K-12 issues, and the stewardship of the profession.
